Art Historian

I read History of Art at Birkbeck College, London, specialising in Victorian Art, Art Nouveau and Art Deco and Catalan Modernisme, studying under the tutelage of Lynda Nead and Carol Jacobi.

Taking an MA year in History of Art from the Open University developed an interest in artist biographies and new critical approaches to modern and contemporary art.

Some visual examples of art studied during the BA History of Art, including two Victorian paintings, a typical Modernisme painting and a French Art Nouveau poster.
